Fabrizio Ceccardi lives and works in Reggio Emilia and Milan His creative journey began in the mid-1970s, a period when he attended important conceptual artists and photographers. He participates to the artistic season of performances, documenting several of these actions. In those years he began its first projects, which will lead him to use the large format Polaroid to develop a creative journey with the Polaroid Transfer technique. This innovative method allowed Ceccardi to intervene directly on the surface of the art work: erasing and blurring some parts of the image, he could get unique pieces, moving away from the traditional idea of serial photography.
Thus began a journey that took him to exhibit in Italy and abroad. His artistic carrier always turns a special regard to art, especially during his long periods of work in Rome, and in the encounter with the artist Giosetta Fioroni. Between the two artists there will be a long and deep friendship, that will bring to several collaborations and editorial projects. Ceccardi continues today working with projects and art works in large format, with the collaboration of international galleries. His work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including: Paris, Strasbourg, Toulouse, Biarritz, and then Rome, Ferrara, Mantua, Bologna, Milan. He has numerous publications with important Italian and foreign publishers.
